Women's Singles Outright Betting Odds

The 2010 Wimbledon Championships are on the horizon with the odds on the ladies side looking particularly hot at this stage. The latest betting is telling us that it is somewhat of an open field this year with a number of players in with a chance of claiming glory at SW19.

It is no surprise to see the Williams sisters at the top of the betting at the start of a Grand Slam and once again it is Serena and Venus who attracting the most money. Serena, is the defending champion and world no.1 so looks likely to take the favourite spot from her sister Venus who herself loves the grass of Wimbledon. There is added spice in the betting this season with the return of Justine Henin and Kim Clijsters to the latest odds after coming out of retirement. When Henin announced her comeback she made it clear that Wimbledon is the one she wanted to add to her already bulging trophy cabinet.
