Wimbledon Tennis Review 2010
Wimbledon Review 2010
It has been an absolute classic Wimbledon in 2010 with some of the great matches ever played over the last fortnight. Serena Williams picked up her 4th title at SW19 with a win over Vera Zvonereva while Rafa Nadal won the Men's tournament with a stunning display to beat Thomas Berdych. The Spaniard swept all before him and affirmed his position as the best player in the World.
The big story of the tournament was the record breaking match between John Isner and Nicholas Mahut, the pair played for over 11 hours in the longest match in the history of the game. The final set eventually went to John Isner who won the 5th set 70-68 with the last set on its own proving the longest match in history, they have now entered the record books and it will prove to be the memory of the 2010 Wimbledon Championships.
Rafa Nadal Wins Second Wimbledon Title
Rafa Nadal is once again the King Of SW19 after he defeated Tomas Berdych in straight sets on Sunday afternoon, there was only ever one winner in truth and on this form it is hard to see Nadal losing at the All England Club any time soon.
Serena Williams Wins Wimbledon For 4th Time
Serena beat Vera Zvonareva in the Final by 2 sets to love in a pretty one sided final on Saturday afternoon.
